Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of Skillumen. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Skillumen is a service operated by Om Prakash Panda, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Pune, Maharashtra, India (“Skillumen”, “we”, “us”, “our”). In these Terms, “you” means the user of the service.

1. The service

Skillumen is a self-paced, software-only learning platform for aspiring AI / LLM engineers. It provides spaced-repetition recall cards, an AI grader, a per-topic AI tutor, an in-browser coding environment with practice labs, AI-driven voice mock interviews, and a guided project (“capstone”). Features vary by plan (Foundations, Applied, Advanced).

No guarantee of outcomes. Skillumen is an educational tool. We do not provide live human instruction, career placement, recruiter introductions, or any job/interview/salary guarantee. Any references to becoming “interview-ready” or “job-ready” describe the preparation the product supports, not a promised result. Your outcomes depend on your own effort and factors outside our control.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

All content, curriculum, card sets, diagrams, software, and branding on Skillumen are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service for your own learning while your subscription is active. Code you write in the labs and capstone is yours to keep and use.

6. Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party providers, including payment processors, AI/LLM providers (for grading, the tutor, and mock-interview scoring), speech-to-text and text-to-speech providers, and hosting. Your use of those features may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. AI-generated feedback, grades, and answers may contain errors and should be used as a study aid, not as authoritative or professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service unlawfully. On termination, your right to use the paid features ends; certain provisions (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Pune, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
